Dating

Meg Griffin is a fictional character on the animated sitcom Family Guy. She is voiced by actress Nancy Cartwright.

Her name is derived from the word megalomaniac, and she often acts like one. She is known for being extremely vain, egotistical, manipulative, greedy, selfish, arrogant, power hungry, and insecure.

In addition to her vanity, Meg is also obsessed with beauty. She spends much of her free time trying to improve her appearance, usually by wearing expensive clothes and makeup. This obsession leads to her becoming a target for men such as Neil Goldman, Quagmire, and Kevin Swanson.

Early in the show, Meg dates Ron Burgundy, although it is never confirmed whether or not they are actually married. After Ron leaves her for another woman, Meg forms a relationship with Brian, whom she marries in season 10. They divorce in season 11, but remarry in season 12. Their marriage ends again in season 13, leading to Meg divorcing him for good in season 14.

After marrying Stewie, Meg begins having children, including twins Chris and Lois. She is seen to be less controlling over them than she is over Chris and Lois.

Although Meg is generally portrayed as a villain, she occasionally appears to be a victim of abuse herself. For example, in the episode “Stew-Roids”, she claims that she was abused by her father, causing her to become obese. In “The Fatherhood,” she says that her husband beats her up whenever he gets drunk.

In the episode “Mother Tucker”, Meg becomes pregnant with triplets, and gives birth in a bathtub. When she sees how ugly she looks, she decides to abort the babies. Later in the same episode, she goes into labor while giving birth to triplets, and delivers them prematurely.

Despite her many flaws, Meg is still considered to be a popular character among fans of the show.

In “Untitled Griffin Family History,” Meg is charged for forcing her way into a group of would-becaptors and growing violently obsessed with Brian after kissing him at the Junior Prom. Afterward, Meg becomes increasingly aggressive towards everyone around her, including her family.
